Note:  If you are looking for the old Ohio "Pro" Horseshoe, the Six Hix Horseshoe is the closest shoe to it... it is actually very similar to the "Pro" so it's your best bet since that shoe no longer exists.

IMPERIAL CLASSIC: This shoe is a copy of the old Ohio "O" Horseshoe.  The "O" was one of the most popular shoes from the previous generation of horseshoes-- So, popular, in fact, that the demand for a shoe like this is great enough for Imperial to develop this "Classic" Horseshoe!

We are now making this Classic horseshoe in the special metals used by Thoroughbred. There is very little burring in use and almost no filing needed even though it still carries the dead soft rating. This is a great improvement on a great shoe.

Note: The original Ohio "O" was the shoe of choice for the founder of White Distributors, Francis "Whitey" White. It was the shoe he started with and pitched for about 40 years. He won many championships with these shoes.

The target weight for an official horseshoe is approx. 2 lbs. 8 oz. (+/- an ounce) and this shoe falls within that range.  Furthermore, each pair is matched weighted so the shoes weigh virtually the same.
