Has outdoor league play--
No tournaments, about 120 members
We are a league of 22 traveling teams in Northern Illinois
centered mainly in McHenry County. Our teams travel to each
other's home court every Thursday evening for a fun time of
pitching. As far back as anyone can remember, we have been in
existence since 1980. Although we are not officially sanctioned,
we still assure all of our sponsor's courts are maintained to
league standards. Because we vary in talent from novice to 65%
shooters, through the years we have developed a handicap which has
worked out pretty close without actually counting throws and
ringers. Hence, our lower talented teams can compete with the
seasoned veterans. We start in April and conclude the week after
Labor Day each year with our annual picnic and league tournament. |
