  4. Wrangler
Wrangler is a traditional style pitching horseshoe based on the Glory Horseshoe, which was originally developed and pitched by 3-time men's world champion, Dan Kuchcinski in 1992. Glory became a Thoroughbred Horseshoe in 1996 and was recently modernized, vastly improving its hooking power. It’s an all new shoe now that needed a new name, thus… Wrangler! It’s primarily a turn shoe but has some added features for the flip pitcher. Being very easy to control, it is popular in serious competitions such as leagues and tournaments and is commonly pitched in doubles play. Wrangler has weighted tips that provide great balance for all pitching techniques. It rotates at an average speed for most players, with little to no extra effort applied. All edges on this classic horseshoe are smooth and rounded for easy release. Wrangler is a professional grade horseshoe designed to take a beating like all Thoroughbred Horseshoes are and should last quite a while even with heavy usage. But if used only occasionally, a set of Wrangler Horseshoes may last a lifetime!

  7. Alan Francis Signature
The Alan Francis Signature shoe is designed for and pitched by the 23 time world champion himself! Featuring large, stake grabbing hooks, aggressive cleats, smooth and slim blades, and one of the most effective ringer break designs ever, the Signature shoe is a great choice for turn pitchers everywhere. Because of the balance of this shoe, it’s a bit of a slower turning shoe, which is great for 3/4 turn players. It’s also been pitched very successfully for the 1 1/4 turn as well. If you have a tendency to over-turn, and you’re thinking a new shoe might make all the difference, the AF Signature shoe is a good shoe to try!
